Alex Hernandez-Pryszlak - Researcher, Open-Source Development Cohort

Alex Hernandez-Pryszlak is an undergraduate student at Virginia Tech studying Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Economics, from Melbourne, Florida. His career path began with Finance and Economics, however, switched to engineering due to his passion for science and mathematics. 

In his previous internships, he worked in Colombia repairing machinery for coal mines, researched mechanical properties in lipid membranes for pharmaceutical drug delivery, and was a Financial Analyst at UBS Financial Services. Alex is currently a researcher in the Conlan Scientific Open-Source Development Cohort.
